THE WAY YOU ARE

15-year-old Rosemarie is struggling with her lack of self confidence and her desire to be in a loving relationship. She changes her hair, her clothes, and goes on a diet. She still doesn't measure up. She finds herself in a relationship with a boy who uses her, but she is too naïve to notice until her sister and brother-in-law add some perspective. Her close relationship with her sister is tested when a family secret is revealed, and Rosemarie learns she was a mistake. When the girls team up to save their cousin from an abusive marriage, Rosemarie learns lessons she will never forget. She finds a friend in her brother-in-law, who introduces her to Mike--"a good guy," and Rosemarie finds everything she has been looking for.
